Note: As of October, 2006, the process is finally underway to finish Years 3 and 4 of our Log Builder Apprenticeship Program. We will be posting much more information here in 2007, including an outline fo the Program, the time and financial commitment to complete the Program, and the intitutions which are authorized to deliver it for us.

Industry Training Authority
Located in Richmond, the ITA has responsibility for:
- governance and development of the industry training system
- service quality for employers and trainees
- review of industry proposals for new training programs

Service B.C. and the Industry Training Centre
Under contract with the ITA, Service B.C. operates the Industry Training Centre (ITC) in Burnaby and provides industry training services at its locations throughout B.C.
Services provided at the ITC include:
- employer and trainee registrations
- assessment of applications for equivalency exams
- administration of examinations
- issuing of certifications
Service B.C. locations (government agents) throughout B.C. can:
- provide forms and general information
- accept registrations and fee payments
- make arrangements for and supervise equivalency exams
